For the sake of interaction amongst the students of different ages and different
classes and to promote the team spirit, loyalty, healthy competition among the students,
all students are divided into four houses after the names of the famous rivers i.e
Ganga, Narmada , Kauveri and Brahamaputra.
Every student at the time of the admission is placed in one of those houses. Each house
in headed by one boy or a girl known as house captain. Members of the staff are divided
into four houses to take care of their respective houses known as tutors.
Points are awarded to the students throughout the year for the extra curricular
activities, academics and also for several inter house competitions like Debate
,Art, Extempore, Speech, Essay Writing, Story Writing, Quiz, Calligraphy, Solo and
Group Song, Elocution, Declamation etc.
At the end of academic year the house which has got maximum points is awarded the
prestigious Bajaj Trophy(running). The most disciplined house is announced in the
morning assembly after every fortnight. The best class of the month is also announced
in the assembly.
